Champions Sunday with Nicky G. The artist who wrote the new Patriots Anthem!!

We had a great day in the Huddle before the storm hit the region. We focused on all the things that make New England great like the Patriots and all the great bands and artists, as we got the pregame party music rolling.

We had Lowell Catholic Basketball‘s Maric Nthala, a dual sport athlete (basketball & football) call in along with Mukala Kabongo on the hotline to talk about the big win Friday night over Greater Lawrence and the current six game win streak. The artist who created the new Pats Anthem “Drake Maye” Nicky G joined us to tell his story of the song as well as coming back from recovery and rising above the challenges to get to where he is now! We also played his track “Sorry” and his new album comes out Super Bowl weekend (Feb 6th).

Pxlicy, aka Paul Elsmore, host of the show Valley Vibes Radio hit us up to talk on his new sports themed jam “Warrior’ with Just Juice and the upcoming show Bars for a Cause on 1/31 at Saheel in Lowell. Performing will be Termanology, DJ Lucas, Mobb and many more. Coach Paul Gonnella and our guy Gary Mulkigian chopped it up on the AFC Championship game and we played music from his group HushMoney, including the new single “Our Love”.
