August 5, 2025: The Hybrid Theory on WaveRadio Boston had Joey back in the studio with Pxlicy producing our interview with the talented emcees of Mindflex, a hip hop group known for high-energy, vibin’ tracks that keep the party moving. Chance, Francois, and Ramon discussed their journey, and we played their summer hit “Gun Powder” plus the world debut of the soon-to-be club anthem “Hell Yeah.” We also talked about Chance’s band background, curating shows with Mike Scarfo of AOA Studios, Chace’s new venture Sub Cultured Marketing, and their residency at Newdia Dispensary near Fenway Park. The show will feature other super talented artists as well. Pxlicy had a great weekend performing at Brooklyn Unity Fest in NYC, which also celebrated 35 years since the release of the movie House Party, with performances by Kid & Play, the legend Jadakiss, and Lil Cease. We wrapped up the night with tracks from one of Joey’s favorite bands, Nonpoint, who will be playing at Wally’s Hampton Beach on August 12th.
