We spent the show talking Hoops & Hip-Hop and talked Pats and the NFL playoffs. Head Coach John Preziosa of Mass Bay CC men’s basketball joined us. We talked about his work as MC Jawn P of the legendary hip hop crew Top Choice Clique.
There were some ups and downs in the story, and he has used it to help his athletes along the way. We talked on his relationship with Extreme’s Gary Cherone and we played the song “I Think to Myself” which had the great Nuno Bettencourt on it. We talked about their connection and how cool it was to be a part of the music scene in the 90’s. We talked about the benefits now playing at a community college while playing some of TCC tracks and other Boston legends like Gang Starr, Ed OG Boston, Termanology, Czarface and the new wave of artists like Joyner Lucas, Millyz, Exit Fame and others.
We were also joined by Michael Isola, Head Coach of Lawrence High Boys hoops and Michael Gorman TMF to talk about the squad and The Movement Family. Our guy Mukala Kabongo offered his insight on the situation with the Masconomet vs Beverly boys hoops game and the AJL tournament at the TD Garden.
