The Hybrid Theory transmits live from WRB’s brand new downtown Lowell studio. On this episode we talked with Chris Porter who has been a music industry professional in the USA for over 30 years. After working in college radio at WJUL in Lowell, MA & becoming Music Director there, he went on to manage several Boston based rock acts and start his own record label called Presto Records in the late 1980’s. That soon led to opportunities to book various nightclubs in Boston throughout most of the 1990’s including Bunrattys, The Middle East club, & Mama Kin Music Hall. Chris is also a DJ & sports fan event producer. We also spoke with WRB’s Co-Founder Pete Hudson. Pete hosts The First Wave. The First Wave airs on Thursday nights from 8-11 and plays the best in national and local rock. This week the Hybrid Theory highlighted Nashua brewery Odd Fellows and reviewed a selection of some of their most delicious offerings.
